The SSC's tentative examination calendar had earlier indicated that the Stenographer Grade C and D Examination 2026 would be held during August–September 2026. The latest notice has now specified the examination dates as September 9–12, 2026.
The SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Computer-Based Examination consists of three parts: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension. According to the examination notice, the CBE carries 200 questions for 200 marks.
