Candidates who clear the Preliminary Test are invited for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is the next step for candidates who qualify in the PMT. Physical Efficiency stage tests the physical endurance, strength, and stamina of the candidate through a series of physical events. Candidates must participate in different physical events.

After successfully clearing the PET, candidates are allowed to appear for the Final Written Examination. The Final Merit List is compiled based on marks obtained in some Papers of the Final Written Examination, which depends on the post you are applying for. Candidates who complete all prior stages and fall within the merit list are offered appointment letters.
