BSEB Opens OFSS Portal for Class 11 Admission 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) officially activated the OFSS (Online Facilitation System for Students) portal for Class 11 admissions for the academic session 2025–27.

The main aim behind introducing this platform is to streamline the admission process for students applying for intermediate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture, and Vocational streams in Bihar. The portal allows eligible students to apply to multiple colleges across the state using a single application form.

This year, the application window was extended to accommodate students who cleared the BSEB Class 10 compartment and special exams. The portal reopened on July 4, 2025, and remained  active till July 6, 2025. Students who have passed their matriculation from boards like BSEB, CBSE, ICSE, or any equivalent board could apply online through the official website www.ofssbihar.net.

Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) for Class 11 Admission is a digital admission system introduced by BSEB to bring transparency and convenience to the admission process for intermediate-level courses. It eliminates the need to visit each college physically and instead allows students to select up to 20 colleges in their order of preference through a single application.

This platform is particularly helpful in rural areas where students often face challenges in accessing admission information or physically submitting applications. The system ensures that seats are allotted based on merit and preference, and all updates are shared through SMS, email, and the OFSS portal itself.

Who Can Apply Through the OFSS Portal?

OFSS Bihar is open to students from a broad range of academic backgrounds, making the system inclusive and accessible:

• Students who have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from the Bihar Board in 2025, including those who cleared special and compartment exams.

• Students who completed matriculation from CBSE, ICSE, or any other national/state boards recognized as equivalent to BSEB.

• Those who have cleared matriculation through vocational streams or open schooling.

Students must also ensure that their Class 10 result is officially declared before applying. Since the OFSS portal supports intermediate-level courses across Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture, and Vocational streams, students must decide which stream they wish to pursue based on their interest and performance in Class 10.

How to Fill OFSS Class 11 Application Form Online?

Here is the step-by-step process to fill the application form through the OFSS portal: 

1. Visit the official website (www.ofssbihar.net) on your device.

2. Click on “Apply Online” and register yourself using a valid mobile number and email ID. 

3. Fill the Common Application Form (CAF) by entering your details like personal details, academic information, stream preference (Arts, Science, etc.), and choice of up to 20 colleges/schools (in order of priority).

4. Upload the scanned copies of your passport-size photograph, mark sheet, etc and pay the application fee using Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, E-Challan, etc.

5. Preview to check all the details and click on confirm to submit the application. Download the acknowledgment receipt for reference.

• You can choose up to 20 colleges in your form. Arrange them carefully based on your preference.

• The first successful match in your list will be considered final, so make sure the top options reflect your priority.

• A working mobile number and email ID are mandatory, as OTP verification and admission updates will be sent to them.

• Without payment of the application fee, your form will be rejected automatically.

• Offline payment is possible via Bank Challan if online options are inaccessible.
