Bihar Police Driver Physical Eligibility includes specific fitness and driving standards. Male candidates must have a minimum height of 165 cm, a chest measurement of 81 cm (with a 5 cm expansion), and a weight proportionate to their height. Female candidates must be at least 155 cm in height and weigh a minimum of 48 kg. 

In the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), men must complete a 1.6 km race in 7 minutes, while women must run 1 km in 7 minutes, along with high jump, long jump, and shot put requirements. Candidates then undergo a Motor Vehicle Driving Test (100 marks) to assess driving skills in jeep, car, bus, and truck.

Bihar Police Driver Motor Vehicle Driving Efficiency Test

Candidates clearing the Physical Efficiency Test will be shortlisted for the Driving Test, which carries a maximum of 100 marks. (A) Candidate's Ability to Drive a JEEP: 

In the Driving Test, candidates’ ability to drive a Jeep will be evaluated, carrying a maximum of 20 marks. Performance will be judged on control, safety, and driving skills on the track. (C) Candidate's Ability to Drive BUS/ TRUCK (This Test will be taken on an Open Field)

In the Driving Test, candidates’ ability to drive a Bus or Truck will be assessed, carrying a maximum of 20 marks. This test will be conducted in an open field, where control, handling, and safety will be evaluated. Marks will be given as per the set standards. Check below:

(D) 20 Questions prepared for the Oral Test & Sign-related Committee:

As part of the Driving Test, candidates will face an Oral Test conducted by the Sign-related Committee. A total of 20 questions will be asked, covering traffic rules, road signs, and driving awareness. This section carries a maximum of 20 marks. Performance will be judged based on accuracy and knowledge.

(E) For General Knowledge of Parts of Cars, Maintenance & Lubricating, and Knowledge of Mechanical, Technical Fault of Vehicle:

In this section of the Driving Test, candidates will be evaluated on their general knowledge of car parts, vehicle maintenance, lubricating methods, and identifying mechanical or technical faults. This test is designed to assess practical understanding of vehicles. A maximum of 20 marks will be awarded based on accuracy and knowledge.
