For effective preparation for the Written Exam, candidates should refer to the detailed BSSC Stenographer syllabus for the year 2023, which is outlined below. However, in cases where the number of candidates exceeds 40,000, the exam is conducted in multiple shifts, and marks normalization is taken into consideration. The exam is divided into three sections that encompass a range of subjects. Candidates are provided with a total duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete the entire examination, ensuring ample time to address all the questions. Each question carries 4 marks, incentivizing candidates for correct responses. On the flip side, there is a provision for negative marking, with a deduction of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
