HSSC Group C Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must meet the rules for education, age, and body measurements to be eligible.

Schooling

• A candidate must have a Graduation degree from a real college to apply for Assistant Superintendent of Jail.

• A candidate must pass class 10+2 from a recognised school board to apply for a Warder.

• All candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in school.

Age Limit

• Assistant Superintendent Jail: The age must be between 21 and 27 years.

• Warder: The age must be between 18 and 25 years.

• Reserved categories get 5 years of relaxation in the upper age limit.

Body Measurements

• Men: The height must be at least 170 cm for the general category. The chest must be 83 cm and expand to 87 cm.

• Women: The height must be at least 158 cm for the general category.

HSSC CET Group C Selection Process 2026

HSSC CET Group C Selection Process 2026 has multiple stages. Candidates must qualify for the Physical Measurement Test. Then, there is a Physical Screening Test to check physical fitness.

• Men must run 2.5 km in 12 minutes.

• Women must run 1.0 km in 6 minutes.

After passing the physical tests, candidates must write an offline exam. The exam uses an OMR sheet with multiple-choice questions. There are 100 questions for 100 marks. The test time is 1 hour and 45 minutes. General category students must get 50% marks to pass, and reserved category students must get 40% marks to pass.
