UP Police OTR Registration (One-Time Registration) system has become compulsory as of 31 July 2025 for all aspirants applying for Uttar Pradesh Police recruitments. This includes recruitments for SI, Constable, ASI, and other positions. It has been introduced by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB). 

The registration is free for all candidates as it ensures faster processing and accuracy during verification. Applicants who fail to complete their UP Police OTR registration online will not be eligible to apply for any future recruitment drives released by the authority.

UP Police OTR registration online process allows candidates to fill and submit the UP Police OTR form through the official portal. Below are the steps:

1. Visit uppbpb.gov.in or apply.upprpb.in.

2. Click on “Register Here” under the OTR section.

3. Complete OTP verification via your mobile number and email.

4. Fill in personal, educational, and contact details exactly as per your documents.

5. Upload scanned photograph, signature, ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Driving License/Passport), and educational certificates.

6. Submit the form and save your OTR ID for future applications.

7. If required, reset your UP Police OTR login credentials using the “Forgot Password” option.
