Foreign nationals aiming for admission must acquire an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. State Domicile : Candidates must be residents of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana and adhere to the local/non-local status requirements based on guidelines issued by the respective state governments as per the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974, and its amendments. Age Limit : For Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age by December 31 of the admission year (2024), without an upper age limit. Specifically for B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Agr. Engineering), B.Tech. (FS & T), and B.Sc. (Agr. Engg) courses, the minimum age is 17 years by December 31 of the admission year (2024), with an upper age limit of 22 years for all candidates and 25 years for SC/ST candidates.Academic Qualifications:
Eligibility for Engineering, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), Pharm.D, and related courses requires passing the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. Candidates must have studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or related vocational courses in Engineering and Technology fields. Those enrolled from 2000 onwards should have completed a bridge course or courses as per the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. Alternatively, equivalent examinations recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana are also acceptable. Students awaiting results of the Final Year Intermediate Examination (10+2 Pattern) can apply for APEAMCET 2024. However, their ranks will be valid only upon passing the Intermediate Examination.- Marks Required: A minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in the qualifying examination is necessary for most courses through APEAMCET 2024.
