AP PGECET 2025 Eligibility

• Candidates must be Indian nationals and residents of Andhra Pradesh, complying with the local/non-local status requirements as specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974, and its subsequent amendments.
• They should hold a relevant Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in the pertinent field, with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates), from an AICTE/UGC-approved institution recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
• This qualification is necessary for admission to corresponding ME/MTech/MPharma courses.
• Additionally, candidates pursuing a BTech or BPharm degree will be eligible for ME/MTech/MPharma courses only if they have completed their prescribed course and passed all subjects required for the degree by the university, as of the date of counseling for college admissions.

• Candidates must have qualified for AP PGECET in the test paper relevant to their desired course. Simply appearing for the exam does not guarantee admission; candidates must meet all eligibility and related criteria.
• According to the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order, 1974, and its amendments, 85% of seats in each course are reserved for local candidates, with the remaining 15% being unreserved.
• When filling seats in colleges, priority is given to candidates who have qualified for GATE/GPAT based on their test scores.
• The remaining seats will be allocated to candidates qualified in AP PGECET according to their merit ranks.

• One mark for each correct answer.
• There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
