Assam HS Rechecking 2026: Apply Online, Fees, Last Date & Result Updates

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has announced the Class 12 results on April 28, 2026. Students who feel their marks do not reflect their performance can opt for the rechecking or revaluation process. This facility allows candidates to request:

How to Apply for Assam HS Rechecking 2026

• Visit the official website – ahsec.assam.gov.in
• Go to the latest notifications section
• Click on “HS Rechecking & Scanned Answer Script 2026”
• Select the subjects for rechecking
• Enter your Roll Number & Registration Number
• Fill in the required details carefully
• Pay the application fee via:
  • Debit/Credit Card
  • Net Banking
  • UPI / Wallet
  • e-Challan (Assam Co-operative Apex Bank)
• Submit the form and download the confirmation receipt

How to Check Assam HS Rechecking Result 2026

1. Candidates intending to get their evaluated Answer Scripts re-checked will have to apply through the ASSEB, Div-II (erstwhile AHSEC) official website https://ahsec.assam.gov.in.
2. Click on the LINK "APPLY FOR RE-CHECKING & SCANNED COPY OF ANSWER SCRIPTS "
3. Please select the subjects for which RE-CHECKING & SCANNED COPY ANSWER SCRIPT is needed.
4. Provide other necessary information as requested in the portal and pay necessary fees. Fees have to be paid through online mode only.
5. Fees for Re-checking of Answer Scripts along with obtaining Scanned copy of Answer Script (for all theory question papers only,) is Rs. 500/- per subject.
6. Re-checking Process: The candidate shall note that Re-checking of Answer Script shall not mean Re- evaluation of the Answer Scripts. Re-checking shall include:
7. The Results of Re-checking will be declared within 30 days from the last date of receipt of application, in the official website.
8. If candidate’s marks are reduced after re-checking of answer scripts that reduced marks will be considered as final marks and accordingly Certificate cum Marks-Sheets will be prepared.
9. In case of any change in Marks, the revised Certificate cum Marks-sheet will be issued on submission of the Original Certificate cum Marks-sheet in the Board's Office with intimation of the Head of the Institution. No such
   Certificate cum Marks-sheet will be sent directly to School, candidate or through any other agency. The revised Certificate cum Marks-Sheet will not be issued if not collected within 30 days from the declaration of re-
   checking of results.
10. Scanned copy of Answer Script will be sent to the applied candidates through E-mail given by the candidate at the time of Application.
