GUJCET Merit List 2026 is expected to be officially released by APAC on June 12, 2026. The merit list is calculated with a 60% weightage to Class 12 PCM marks and 40% to GUJCET scores.
The merit list is calculated using a composite score that combines your Class 12 Science Theory marks and your GUJCET performance.
60% Weightage: Marks obtained in the Theory subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology) of your Class 12 Board Exam.
40% Weightage: Marks/Percentile obtained in the GUJCET 2026 exam.
The Merit List is the backbone of the ACPC Centralised Admission Process (CAP):
Eligibility for Counselling: Only students whose names appear on the merit list can participate in choice filling (selecting colleges).
Seat Allotment: During the counselling rounds, seats are offered strictly in order of merit rank. A student with Rank 500 will always get their preferred choice before a student with Rank 501.
Provisional vs. Final List:
1. Provisional Merit List: Released first to allow students to check for errors or discrepancies.
2. Final Merit List: Released after addressing grievances; this list is used for actual seat allocation.
If two or more candidates secure the same composite merit score, the ACPC applies the following tie-breaking rules in order:
Subject Priority: Higher marks in Mathematics (for Engineering) or Biology (for Pharmacy).
Second Priority: Higher marks in Physics.
Third Priority: Higher marks in Chemistry.
Board Aggregate: Higher percentage of marks obtained in the Class 12 Board examination (total marks).
English Marks: Higher marks obtained in the English subject in Class 12.
Age Factor: The older candidate (based on Date of Birth) is given the higher rank.
