Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026 process is underway for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the Karnataka State Quota. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the registration window till 7th August 2026, giving eligible candidates additional time to complete the application and NEET roll number linking process.
Candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 can now complete their registration through the official KEA portal. Along with registration, document verification is also being conducted as per the announced schedule.Document Verification is being conducted from 04 August 2026 to 08 August 2026.
The Karnataka NEET merit list has already been published, while the detailed counselling bulletin for all participating colleges is expected shortly.

KEA has already published the Karnataka NEET UG Merit List 2026.
Only candidates included in the merit list will be eligible to participate in counselling, option entry, and seat allotment.
The seat matrix will be published before the option entry process begins.
According to the available MBBS seat data, Karnataka has 15,395 MBBS seats, making it one of the states with the highest number of medical seats in the country.

Option entry is expected to begin during the first week of August after the release of the seat matrix.
