The Maharashtra State CET Cell has announced the tentative examination calendar for the academic year 2026. The schedule includes dates for key entrance tests such as MHT CET for engineering and pharmacy, MBA MMS, MCA, BEd, LLB, Nursing, Fine Arts, and several other professional courses. These tentative dates have been published on the official website cetcell.mahacet.org. For the first time, starting in 2026, the MHT CET will be conducted twice annually, giving students more flexibility and a better chance to improve their scores. MHT CET to Be Held Twice a Year from 2026

Beginning in 2026, the CET Cell will conduct MHT CET in two sessions every year.
This change applies to the BTech engineering entrance and MBA MMS entrance exams.

New Pattern Highlights:

  • Exams will be held in April and May, similar to the JEE Main model

  • Students may appear for one or both attempts

  • If a candidate takes both attempts, the higher score will be considered for admissions

  • PCM, PCB, and MBA exams will have two rounds
