When two or more candidates achieve the exact same MHT CET percentile score, the CET Cell applies strict inter-se merit tie-breaking rules. The authority determines final ranks using the following priority order:
Higher Percentile in Mathematics: The CET Cell first compares individual percentile scores in Mathematics.
Higher Percentile in Physics: If the tie persists, the candidate with higher Physics percentile gains priority.
Higher Percentile in Chemistry: Next, the authority considers individual Chemistry percentile scores.
Higher Class 12 PCM Marks: The CET Cell compares aggregate percentage marks in Class 12 board examinations.
Higher Class 10 Percentage: Candidates with higher Class 10 total percentage secure a better rank.
Older Candidate: If all academic scores remain equal, the older candidate receives the higher merit rank.
The CET Cell has announced the critical dates for CAP Round 1 choice filling and seat allotment. Candidates must complete option submission within the specified timeframe to stay in the admission process.
