VTU Registration and Application Process

VTU registration for admission into affiliated B.E./B.Tech colleges is managed by two primary agencies, depending on the quota:

Government Quota (KCET): Candidates must register and apply online through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) official portal.

Private/Management Quota (COMEDK UGET): Candidates must register and apply online through the COMEDK official portal.

VTU PG Courses: For M.Tech, MBA, and MCA, candidates apply and register through Karnataka PGCET after by counselling process conducted by KEA.

VTU Admission 2025 Counselling Process

The counselling for B.E./B.Tech seats in VTU affiliated colleges is carried out centrally. KCET Counselling is conducted by the KEA in multiple rounds. Shortlisted candidates based on their KCET ranks register, select college preferences, are allotted seats, pay the initial fee, and download the admission order before reporting to the college. COMEDK Counselling: Conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) for seats under its quota.
