WBJEE 2024 TFW: The West Bengal Government has commenced the WBJEE 2024 TFW Scheme for the students for the economically challenged section of the students. TFW 2024 is an acronym for the Tuition Fee Waiver Program. Tuition expenses are waived for worthy applicants who meet the TFW eligibility requirements under the WBJEE 2024 TFW Scheme.
Additionally, qualifying candidates are assigned to 5% of the seats in engineering, technology, architecture, and pharmacy universities. The TFW scheme is available to candidates who passed the WBJEE exam with high marks and come from economically disadvantaged areas. WBJEE 2024 TFW Scheme
The WBJEE 2024 TFW Scheme has been detailed here for the candidates. Candidates are advised that the WBJEE TWF plan is only applicable to the tuition fee; they will still be responsible for paying all other fees. The students must meet the qualifying requirements, which include that they must be West Bengal citizens with a family income of less than INR 2.50 lakhs per year. A little over 5% of seats are set aside for these qualified students. The only amount that is waived is the tuition fee; students are still responsible for paying for any other benefits.- Parental Income: The student's family should not make more than Rs. 2.5 lakhs a year.
- The student's place of residence must be in West Bengal.
- WBJEE Rank: The candidate needs to achieve both a high TFW and a high GMR (general merit rank).
WBJEE 2024 TFW Application Process
Applicants who wish to use the TFW Scheme for WBJEE for admission must be aware of the registration procedure. Below is a step-by-step registration guide for the WBJEE TFW scheme.- The TFW program must be applied for by applicants when completing the WBJEE 2024 application form. A special question on the application form asks the individual if they wish to apply for the TFW scheme. To proceed with the TFW application, candidates must click "Yes."
- Candidates should make sure they have the required paperwork to demonstrate their TFW scheme eligibility before the WBJEE counseling starts. An income certificate, a domicile certificate, and a WBJEE rank card are among the documents listed.
- Candidates are required to take part in the counseling process and indicate which course and institute they choose.
- Students will be assigned seats following careful document verification.
- Upon being selected for a seat under the TFW program, candidates will get a provisional allocation letter that will waive their tuition payments and indicate their allotment under the TFW category.
- After that, to finish the admissions process and pay the outstanding costs, students must report to the designated institute with their provisional allotment letter.
