WBJEE Counselling 2025 is expected to begin in July 2025 on the official website “wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee”. Students who pass the WBJEE 2025 exam will need to register online to take part in the counselling and get a chance for admission into their preferred colleges and courses. To register, candidates must log in, pay the counselling fee, and select the colleges and courses they want, in the order of their choice.

The seat allotment result will be declared online, and seats will be given based on the student’s WBJEE rank, category, chosen preferences, and availability of seats.

2. Payment of Counselling Fee: After registration, a non-refundable counselling fee (e.g., ₹500) must be paid online via debit/credit card or net banking.

3. Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates select their preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. Choices must be locked before the deadline; otherwise, the last saved choices will be automatically locked.

4. Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on the candidate's rank, preferences, and seat availability. The allotment results are published online, and candidates can check their status by logging into their accounts.

5. Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee: Candidates who are allotted a seat must pay a seat acceptance fee (e.g., ₹5,000) to confirm their admission. This payment can be made online.

6. Reporting and Document Verification: After paying the acceptance fee, candidates must report to the allotted institute for document verification. Required documents include admit cards, rank cards, mark sheets, and category certificates, if applicable.

7. Mop-Up Round (If Applicable): A mop-up round is conducted to fill any remaining vacancies. Candidates who did not get a seat in earlier rounds or wish to upgrade can participate by registering afresh and repeating the choice filling and seat allotment process.
