MPPSC Mains 2026 Hindi Paper was a 200-mark paper with 20 important topics covered through 8 questions. Overall, the paper was easy to moderate and mostly doable for students who had prepared well according to the syllabus.

According to the student feedback discussed after the exam, many students found the paper scoring. It was stated that some students may score 150+ marks, while a well-prepared student could target around 150 to 160 marks.

The main difficult part of the paper was the Madhya Pradesh dialects section. Questions related to Malvi, Nimadi, Bagheli, Bundeli and other dialect areas were considered difficult because students may not know the dialects of every region. Apart from the dialect section, around 190 marks of the paper was considered manageable.

Most questions were based on the prescribed syllabus and could be attempted by students who had studied the basic concepts properly. Questions from topics such as Sandhi, Samas, idioms, proverbs, synonyms, antonyms, Tatsam-Tadbhav, Rasa and Chhand were considered manageable.

The Madhya Pradesh dialects section was the toughest part of the paper. Some questions went into deeper details of regional dialects. Questions related to Bundeli, Malvi and Nimadi required better knowledge of the local language and its usage.

Another point that was considered slightly beyond the expected syllabus was the question related to guidelines for precis writing (Sankshepan). Precis writing had appeared in earlier years but had not been seen regularly in recent papers.
