As per the latest MPPSC mains exam schedule, the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission will conduct the state service mains exam in a single shift every day from 10 am to 1 pm except for Hindi Essay and Draft Writing. MPPSC Mains Exam Analysis 2021 for Paper I (July 17, 2023)

  • As per the feedback collected by the aspirants, the MPPSC mains GS Paper I was conducted for a total of 300 marks, with an exam duration of 3 hours.
  • The MPPSC Mains General Studies Paper I is divided into two sections, i.e., Section A (150 marks) and Section B (150 marks).
  • As per MPPSC mains exam analysis, a total of three questions were asked, each in Section A and Section B. Every question comprises 15 very short answer type sub- questions. Aspirants are required to answer each question ideally in 10 words/one line. All questions are compulsory in nature. Each question carries three marks.

  • As per the feedback collected by the aspirants, the MPPSC mains GS Paper V was conducted for a total of 200 marks, with an exam duration of 3 hours.
  • The MPPSC Mains General Studies Paper IV comprises a total of eight questions.
  • In Question I, the section comprises 25 short answer-type sub-questions. Aspirants are required to answer each question ideally in 20-25 words. All questions are compulsory in nature. Each question carries three marks.
  • In Question II, the section comprises ornaments-related questions. It comprises five sub-questions in two parts. Each question carries one mark.
  • Question III comprises questions related to translation from Hindi to English and from English to Hindi. Each question carries 4 marks.
  • Question IV comprises Hindi Grammar (Sandhi, Samas, and Punctuation) questions. All questions are compulsory in nature. Each question carries 2 marks.
  • Question V comprises 10 questions related to elementary grammar, vocabulary, etc. Each section carries 2 marks.
  • In Question VI, aspirants need to answer any one passage. Each passage comprises 5 questions. Each question carries 4 marks.
  • Question VII comprises one question for a total of 10 marks.
  • In Question VIII, aspirants were required to summarize any one passage in one-third words. The total marks was 10 marks

  • The MPPSC Mains General Studies Paper VI comprises a total of three questions.
  • In Question I, aspirants were required to write an essay of about 1000 words on any of the topics given below. The maximum mark is 50.
