  • Candidates must be citizens of India.

  • Candidates must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing the Odia language.

  • Candidates must have passed:

  • The Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject, or

  • The 10th class or equivalent examination with Odia as the medium, or

  • Had Odia as a language in Class 7th or above, or

  • Passed a test in Odia conducted by the Middle English School and Mass Education Department.

OPSC ASO Salary 2026

Candidates selected for OPSC ASO will receive a competitive salary package. The pay scale and allowances are structured according to state government norms.

OPSC ASO candidates will receive a pay scale ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 under Level 9, Cell-1 of the OSRP Rules, 2017. In addition to the basic pay, candidates are eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA) and other allowances as sanctioned by the State Pollution Control Board, Odisha.
