OPSC OCS 2025 Mains Exam: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has officially announced the complete timetable for the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Main (Written) Examination 2025. Candidates shortlisted from the preliminary stage can now review the complete date sheet and plan their final revision strategy.
According to Notice No. 4888/PSC issued on August 29, 2026, pursuant to Advertisement No. 05 of 2025-26, the OPSC OCS 2025 Mains Exam dates are detailed and will take place from October 29, 2026, to November 07, 2026.
The official schedule for the Odisha Civil Services Main (Written) Examination 2025 has been released. The exam will be held in two sessions across multiple dates.

The written examination spans seven non-consecutive days, covering mandatory language papers, essay, general studies papers, and optional subjects.

Timing Structure: Forenoon shifts run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while Afternoon shifts run from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Extra Time for PWD Candidates: Person with Disabilities (PWD) candidates will be granted 1 hour of compensatory extra time per sitting (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM & 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM).
Both Paper-VI (Optional Paper-I) and Paper-VII (Optional Paper-II) will be conducted on Saturday, November 07, 2026. Candidates can select one optional subject from the allowed list:

Medical Science: Medical Science.
Humanities & Social Sciences: Economics, Education, Geography, History, Home Science, Law, Management, Philosophy, Political Science & International Relations, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Commerce & Accountancy.
Languages & Literature: English, Hindi, Odia, Urdu.
The recruitment drive conducted under Loka Seva Ayog Bhavan, Cuttack (Kataka) fills esteemed administrative posts in the Government of Odisha (such as OAS, OPS, OFS, ORS, and OT&AS). The selection process consists of three distinct stages:
Preliminary Examination: Objective type screening test.
Main Written Examination: Descriptive papers total 1750 merit-counting marks (plus qualifying Odia and English papers).
Personality Test (Interview): Conducted for 250 marks to assess overall suitability for public service.
