Amin under EIC (Water Resources): Candidates must have passed +2 (Arts / Science / Commerce) or an equivalent qualification recognised as equivalent to the +2 examination. A Computer Skill Certificate is also required.
Junior Fisheries Technical Assistant: Candidates should have passed +2 Vocational (Fisheries) from CHSE / University and must possess swimming knowledge. If Vocational (Fisheries) is not available, candidates with +2 Science are also eligible.
Junior Forensic Attendant: Applicants must have passed +2 Science from a recognised Board or Institution.
OSSC CHSL Selection Process 2026 is designed to evaluate candidates' aptitude and skills for the respective posts. It comprises multiple stages, each with specific criteria for progression.
Preliminary Exam: Prelims examconsists of multiple-choice questions for 150 marks and a duration of 2 hours. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. This examination is qualifying in nature.
Main Exam: Candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam (approximately 5 times the number of vacancies, category-wise and post-wise) will be invited for this stage. This examination is for 200 marks and has a duration of 3 hours. Marks obtained in the Main Examination are considered for the final merit list.
Document Verification: Successful candidates from the Main Examination will undergo document verification. Failure to attend this stage will result in disqualification from the recruitment process.
