Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has issued a short CRE 2026 notification on 24 December 2025 for the Combined Recruitment Examination–2025. This brief notice announces the recruitment for RI, ICDS Supervisor, VAW, JA, ARI, Amin, Forester, Forest Guard and SFS posts, along with the list of posts and the registration schedule.

OSSSC CRE Vacancy 2026

As per the notification update, around 6,000+ vacancies are expected across departments for:

• Revenue Inspector (RI)

• Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI)

Revenue Inspector (RI)

• Bachelor’s Degree + Computer Knowledge

• Age: 20 to 38 years

Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI)

• 10+2 or Diploma in Engineering

• Computer Knowledge Required

• Age: 20 to 38 years

Amin

• 10+2 or Diploma in Engineering

• Age: 20 to 38 years

Supervisor (Female Only)

• Graduation in Arts / Science / Commerce

• Age: 21 to 38 years

Statistical Field Surveyor

• 10+2 (CHSE / CBSE / ICSE)

• Age: 21 to 38 years

Age relaxation applies to reserved categories as per the Odisha Govt rules.

Excise Constable

• Class 12th from a recognised board or institution.
• Age: 21 to 32 years

Forest Guard

High School Certificate Examination (10+) from a recognised Board or institution.

18 to 38 years

Forester

passed +2/ Intermediate Science from a recognised Board or institution, and candidates have a basic knowledge of Computer skills.

OSSSC CRE 2026 Selection Process

The OSSSC RI ARI AMIN Recruitment 2026 includes three stages:

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (Qualifying)

• OMR / CBRT mode

• Objective-type questions

Stage 2: Mains Examination

• MCQ-based evaluation

• Marks counted for merit list

Stage 3: Practical Skill Test

• Basic Computer Skills

• Qualifying in nature (Minimum 40%)
