RPSC RAS Syllabus 2026 has been officially revised by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission, bringing the first major change in more than a decade. As per the latest update, nearly 25% of the syllabus has been modified, with key structural changes in both Prelims and Mains.

RPSC RAS Mains Syllabus 2026 (Descriptive)

The RAS main exam, which previously consisted of four papers, three on general knowledge and one on English and Hindi, has seen changes. The general knowledge section now has fewer modules, with the sports and yoga module reduced and the law and management portions increased. All two-mark questions have been eliminated, replaced by questions carrying 5 and 10 marks.

The Mains examination tests in-depth knowledge and writing ability.

The fourth paper (General Hindi and English) of the RAS main exam has also been modified. The previous 15 questions carrying two marks have been replaced with 5 and 10-mark questions. This paper now comprises three sections: Hindi, English, and essays.
