Steps to apply for WBCS Application Form

Step 1 - Enrollment

• Visit the official WBCS website.
• Select "Examination Name" from the menu on the left.
• Select the "Enroll Yourself" link.
• Next, complete the Enrollment Form by entering all required information, and then select "Sign Up."
• Verify the OTP code that was sent to the given mobile number.
• The enrollment number and successful enrollment will be shown .

Step 2 - Application Procedure of WBCS

• Log in to the portal using the credentials you entered.
• Choose the "Application Form" option from the dashboard.
• Choose the name of the examination from "My Applications."
• Check the eligibility criteria after that.
• Select "Continue" if all requirements have been met.
• The application will show up on the screen once you select "Application Details."
• Complete the important fields with the blanks.
• After carefully filling out all the information, click "Save & Continue" to continue.
• Now carefully edit all the information from the previously passed exam, make any necessary changes, and click "Save & Continue" once more.
• Now Select the Center of Preference, some posts simply require this. Click "Save & Continue" after selecting a suitable center.
• After making sure there have been no errors, look over all the information provided again and check "I agree that all the information provided here is correct according to my knowledge."
• After making sure that the information you provided is correct, click "Confirm & Submit."
• After submitting the form and receiving confirmation, select "Back to my application."
• Choose the payment method after deciding which applications require payment.
• Choose "Pay with Cash through UBI Bank" for an offline payment or "Continue for Online Payment" for an online payment.
• Click on the appropriate Payment Gateway option, such as Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking, if the "Online Payment" mode is chosen. Proceed to "Pay Now & Submit Application" after choosing a payment gateway.
• Click "Generate & Print Challan" to produce the Union Bank of India Challan with all the required information if "Offline Payment" is chosen.
• Print the challan and submit it to the bank along with the required payments.

Step 3 - Procedure for Uploading Photographs and Signatures

• The scanned copies of the signature and the photos need to be submitted individually by clicking on the link on the dashboard.
• Click on the "Upload Photograph and Signature" option on the left-hand panel.
• Resize the scanned images if you are having trouble submitting them.
• This will resize the image to 138 pixels wide by 177 pixels high. The proportions also apply to the scanned photo and signature. Right-click and pick Microsoft Office Picture Manager under Open With.
• Click "ok" to finish the resizing now.
• When the procedure is finished, click "Save & Continue" after selecting "Upload Photo" and "Upload Signature."

Step 4 - Application Fees of WBCS

• WBCS application fees are accepted online and offline.
• Online payments can be performed with a credit card, debit card, or net banking, while offline payments can be completed by printing the Union Bank of India e-challan.
• After verifying and saving all the information, choose "Back to My Application" to proceed with the payment.
• Remember to have an additional copy of the e-challan on hand in case of last-minute complications.
• The fee is based on the candidate's classification and the method of payment.

Step 5 - Guidelines for Photograph and Signature

• It is required to scan both the photo and the signature before submission.
• The width and height of the two images, as well as the signature, are 138 and 177 pixels, respectively.
• The only file type for the photographs is JPG or JPEG.
• The signature and picture together cannot be more than 100 kb.
• The candidates must right-click on the photographs and resize them to the specified pixel if they face a problem when uploading the images.

Rejection of WBCS Application Form

• The screen will display an error if the file sizes of the signature and photo do not match the previously specified sizes.
• The application won't be approved if the signature and photos aren't uploaded separately.
• The candidates must attempt again if the payment is unsuccessful.
• Verify the information again before submitting it in its final form as once it is submitted, it cannot be changed.
• Make sure you print out the payment and registration confirmation after they have been completed.
