Bihar STET Online Form 2026: The Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026 notification has been issued for candidates seeking eligibility for teaching posts in secondary and higher secondary classes in Bihar. The examination will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT). As per the notification, eligible candidates can submit the Bihar STET 2026 apply online link active form from August 17 to August 31, 2026.

As per the notification, the applicant must be a citizen of India. Candidates must fulfil the educational and professional qualification prescribed for the respective subject and paper.
For Bihar government school teacher eligibility, the qualifications are linked with the Bihar State School Teacher Appointment, Transfer, Disciplinary Action and Service Conditions Rules, 2023, including its amendments.
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Extremely Backward Class, Backward Class and Divyang categories, who are original residents of Bihar, are eligible for the prescribed relaxation in educational and professional qualification.
The minimum age required to appear in Bihar STET 2026 is 21 years as on August 1, 2026.

Candidates can follow the steps below to complete the Bihar STET 2026 application form:
Visit the official Bihar STET application website: stetregistration.cbrt.co.in.
Click on the Registration option.
Enter the required details and click Generate OTP.
Complete the registration process using the OTP.
The User ID and Password will be sent to the registered mobile number through SMS.
Login using the User ID and Password.
Complete the online application form and enter personal, educational and other required details.
Upload the prescribed photograph, signature and certificates.
Use the Preview option to check the complete application form.
Correct any errors before final submission.
Click on Save and proceed to fee payment.
Select Online Payment and choose the available payment gateway.
Pay the examination fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
Save and retain the submitted application form for future reference.
Candidates have to pay the examination fee according to their category and the number of papers selected.

Residential certificate issued by the competent authority.
Caste certificate issued by the competent authority for SC/ST candidates.
Updated Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued by the competent authority for EBC/BC candidates.
Valid Divyang certificate issued by the competent authority, wherever applicable.
Ex-serviceman certificate, wherever applicable, for claiming age relaxation.
For married women claiming reservation, the notification specifies that the caste/non-creamy layer certificate should be issued according to the decision of the General Administration Department, Government of Bihar.
Candidates must upload a scanned recent colour photograph and signature.

Signature size: 50 KB to 200 KB
Photograph should have a white or light-coloured background.
The candidate's face and eyes should be clearly visible.
Candidates should not wear a cap or black spectacles while taking the photograph.

If any mistake is found, candidates should correct the details and save the application before final submission. The notification states that after the admit card is issued, requests for changes in the application details will not be accepted.
