BPSC TRE 4.0 Eligibility Criteria 2026

Nationality

Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit

The minimum age is calculated as of 01.08.2026:

• Classes 1–5 & 6–8: Minimum 18 years

• Classes 9–10 & 11–12: Minimum 21 years

• Maximum Retirement Age: 60 years

Educational Qualification

• Classes 1–5: Intermediate (10+2) with at least 50% marks and D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed, along with CTET Paper-I or BTET Paper-I pass.

• Classes 6–8: Graduation degree along with D.El.Ed / B.Ed / B.El.Ed, plus CTET Paper-II or BTET Paper-II pass.

• Classes 9–10: Graduation/Post Graduation with at least 50% marks in relevant subject and B.Ed, plus STET Paper-I pass.

• Classes 11–12: Post Graduation with at least 50% marks in relevant subject and B.Ed, plus STET Paper-II pass.

2. Complete One Time Registration (OTR) with personal details, email ID, and mobile number.

BPSC TRE 4.0 Selection Process 2026

The selection relies on the following phases:

1. Written Examination (Objective / MCQ Type): 150 questions (Language Qualifying - 30, General Studies - 40, Subject Paper - 80) conducted for 2.5 hours. Negative marking of 1/3rd mark applies for wrong answers.

2. Provisional Merit List Preparation: Based on written exam marks (Part-II for primary; Part-II & Part-III combined for others).

3. Document Verification (DV): Verification of original educational, caste, and eligibility certificates by the administrative department.

4. Final Selection & District Allocation: Allotment of districts by the Education Department based on merit and candidate preferences.

• Primary Teachers (Classes 1–5): Initial Basic Pay of ₹25,000 per month plus state-governed allowances.

• Middle School Teachers (Classes 6–8): Initial Basic Pay of ₹28,000 per month plus state-governed allowances.

• Secondary Teachers (Classes 9–10): Initial Basic Pay of ₹31,000 per month plus state-governed allowances.
