

The Central Board of Secondary Education has opened the registration process for the CTET December 2025 cycle. Candidates can submit their applications on the official website, ctet.nic.in. The deadline for completing the online form is December 18. The CTET examination will be conducted on February 8, 2026.
Paper I (Classes I–V):
Applicants must have completed, or be in the final year of, a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Paper II (Classes VI–VIII):
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree along with a two-year B.Ed, or a four-year integrated B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed programme.
There is no upper age limit for appearing in CTET 2025.
Candidates must pay the fee online.
General and OBC: Rs 1,000 for one paper; Rs 1,200 for both papers
SC, ST, PwD: Rs 500 for one paper; Rs 600 for both papers
The exam comprises two papers. Paper I is meant for teaching positions in classes I–V, while Paper II is for classes VI–VIII. Each paper contains 150 multiple-choice questions. There is no negative marking.

Complete the registration and fill in personal and academic details.
Select the exam centre, paper (I/II/both), and preferred language.
Upload a passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
Pay the application fee and submit the form.
Download the confirmation page and take a printout for reference.
