CTET 2026 Online Application Form Re Opens on August 25, 2026. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has given another chance to eligible candidates who could not submit the CTET application form during the earlier application period. The online application window will remain open from August 25 to September 1, 2026.

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted by CBSE for candidates who want to become teachers. So far, 21 editions of CTET have been conducted. The result of the 21st edition was declared on March 30, 2026.

The notice also refers to the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Review Petition (Civil) Diary No. 53434/2025 in Civil Appeal No. 1385/2025. The judgment highlighted the need to give eligible teachers a reasonable opportunity to meet the required TET qualification.

Therefore, CBSE has decided to open the CTET online application portal again. This gives eligible candidates another opportunity to submit their applications.

• Paper I or II: ₹1,000

• Both Paper I and II: ₹1,200

SC/ST/PwD:

• Paper I or II: ₹500

• Both Paper I and II: ₹600

CTET 2026 Revised Exam Date

CTET 2026 Revised Exam Date will be informed to the candidates once the application process is over. Earlier, the exam was supposed to be conducted on September 6, 2026. CBSE has notified that the exam has been postponed and application form is reopened for the candidates. Candidates need to wait for the CBSE official notice regarding the new exam date for the CTET 2026 exam.
