The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) has issued a critical update for candidates who appeared in the ESSE 2025 (EMRS Staff Selection Exam). Following the declaration of the Tier-I results for various teaching and non-teaching posts, the board received numerous representations from candidates questioning their scores.
In response, a formal window has been opened for candidates to request their official calculation sheets and OMR copies. This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to apply, the fees involved, and the strict deadlines you must follow.
According to the official notification, many candidates claimed discrepancies in their declared scores. However, upon verification, NESTS found that most candidates were:
Calculating marks incorrectly (not accounting for right/wrong answer ratios).
Using unofficial or wrong answer keys to tally their results.
To maintain transparency, the authority is now allowing candidates to obtain their official attempted OMR sheet and calculation sheet for a specific fee.
NESTS has allowed candidates to check their marks for the EMRS ESSE 2025 Tier-1 exam.
Many students were calculating scores using the wrong answer key, so now they can apply for an official calculation sheet (not re-evaluation).
Only Tier-1 exam candidates can apply
Fee: ₹500 per post
Last date: 07 March 2026
Apply again even if you sent RTI or email earlier
Late requests will not be accepted
This will help candidates know their correct marks officially.
If you wish to verify your EMRS Tier-1 marks, you must act quickly. The window is short and strictly enforced.

Incomplete applications or those submitted by someone other than the candidate will be summarily rejected.

Finality: The decision of the Competent Authority of CBSE regarding the result and re-calculation will be final and binding.
No Other Mode: Requests via email, online portals, or simple letters without the DD will be ignored.
The calculation sheet shows exactly how your marks were counted — which answers were right and which were wrong according to the official answer key. It will not change your result, but it helps clear doubts and makes the process transparent. It is useful for candidates who want clarity about their score or are preparing for future attempts.
If you are confident that your marks do not align with the official answer key, this is your final opportunity to verify your performance. Ensure your Speed Post is dispatched well before the March 7th deadline to account for postal delays.
