• General Subjects (Maths, English, History, etc.): Master's Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks + B.Ed with 50% marks + HP Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualification.

• Computer Science Teacher: B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT) with 50% aggregate OR M.Sc (CS)/MCA OR Master's in Physics/Maths with PGDCA OR DOEACC 'B'/'C' level certificate.

• Physical Education: B.P.Ed/BPE/B.Sc in Health & Physical Education with 55% marks + M.P.Ed or M.A. in Physical Education.

• Fine Arts: Master's in Fine Arts/Visual Arts (50% marks) OR Class 12 with a 5-year full-time Diploma in Fine Arts.

3. State Domicile & Schooling Conditions

• Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) and 10+2 from a recognised school/institution located within Himachal Pradesh.

• Exemption: Bonafide Himachali candidates are exempt from the requirement of completing 10th and 10+2 within Himachal Pradesh.

• Reserved category applicants from other states will be treated as Unreserved (General) candidates.

HPRCA Teacher Exam 2026 Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of two primary stages:
