The recruitment process for Assistant Teachers consists of the following phases:
Examination Type: An OMR or Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted. Normalisation of marks will be applied if the exam is held in multiple groups/shifts.
Exam Structure: The examination will consist of a single Main Examination phase. All questions will be objective type with multiple-choice answers, and there will be no negative marking.
Main Examination for Intermediate Trained Assistant Acharya (Class 1 to 5): This will have 3 papers (Paper-1, Paper-2, Paper-3). Paper-1 (Mother Tongue) is qualifying with 30% marks; its score is not included in the merit list. Paper-2 and Paper-3 contribute to the 300 marks for the merit list.
Main Examination for Graduate Trained Assistant Acharya (Class 6 to 8): This will have 4 papers (Paper-1, Paper-2, Paper-3, Paper-4). Paper-1 (Mother Tongue) is qualifying with 30% marks. Paper-2, Paper-3, and Paper-4 contribute to the 380 marks for the merit list. Paper-4 (Optional Subject) requires a minimum of 33% marks.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates need to achieve minimum qualifying marks in the main examination to be considered for the merit list (e.g., 40% for Unreserved/EWS, 32% for SC/ST & Women).
Merit List Preparation: A provisional merit list will be prepared based on the marks in the main examination, excluding qualifying papers.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will undergo verification of their academic, training, caste, and experience certificates.
