KARTET Eligibility 2025 consists of educational qualifications and an age limit. Candidates who want to begin their teaching career in Karnataka must appear in the KARTET entrance test. No such upper age limit restriction is set for candidates to appear in the entrance test. It is required that candidates should be 18 years or above. The educational qualification includes a graduation degree/10+2 qualified, along with a BEd/diploma course in elementary education.

KARTET Eligibility Criteria 2025

KARTET Eligibility Criteria 2025 has been disclosed by the exam conducting authority in the official notification. Candidates should carefully review the details when applying for the entrance test.  Any candidate who has been admitted to any Teacher Training Course (TTC), such as B.Ed. or D.El.Ed., and is "pursuing" the course (meaning they are currently studying it) is eligible to appear for the KARTET examination.

Qualification Validity: Only diploma or degree courses in teacher education recognised by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) are valid for KARTET eligibility. Degrees in Special Education recognised by the RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) are also considered.

KARTET Age Limit

The official notification for KARTET-2025 specifies that the test serves as a minimum eligibility standard for teachers. Therefore, no KARTET Age Limit restrictions are mentioned for a candidate to apply for this exam. It is required that any candidate should be 18 years or above in the age group appearing in the exam.
