1. Visit the Official Commission Website:
Go to the official website of the Manipur Staff Selection Commission at manipurssc.mn.gov.in.
2. Complete Account Registration:
Click on the recruitment link for Special Primary Teacher 2026 and register using your details matching your Employment Exchange sponsorship credentials.
3. Fill Out the Online Application Form:
Log in using your User ID and password. Enter your personal details, educational qualifications, RCI CRR number, TET-I scorecard details, and select your preferred exam centre (Imphal, Churachandpur, or Senapati).

Candidates must fulfill all eligibility guidelines regarding age, educational qualification, language, and domicile as specified in the official notification.
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 38 years
Age Relaxations:
SC / ST Candidates: 5 years upper age relaxation
OBC Candidates: 3 years upper age relaxation
Government Servants: Relaxable as per continuous service rules of the Government of Manipur
Academic Qualification: Passed 10+2 (Class XII) or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (or 45% aggregate marks under applicable NCTE regulations).
Professional Qualification: Must hold a Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) in Special Education from an RCI-approved institution along with a valid Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) Central Rehabilitation Register (CRR) number, OR a D.El.Ed. with a recognized qualification in special education from an RCI-approved institute with a valid CRR number.
Teacher Eligibility Test: Must have passed Teacher Eligibility Test-I (TET-I) conducted by the State Government or any agency recognized by the NCTE.
Must be a citizen of India.
Must be a permanent resident of Manipur or have parents/ancestors in the direct lineage who are permanent residents of Manipur (supported by documentary evidence).
Must be able to speak Manipuri or any recognised tribal dialect of Manipur.
Must be sponsored by the concerned Employment Exchange of Manipur.
The recruitment exam will be conducted online as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions based on the Class 12 standard.
Section 1: General Knowledge-50 Questions (50 Marks)
Section 2: Basic Mathematics-25 Questions (25 Marks)
Section 3: English Language-25 Questions (25 Marks)
Total Marks: 100 marks

Exam Duration: 75 minutes (100 minutes for PwD candidates using a scribe)
Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Syllabus Coverage: General Knowledge covers Indian polity, history, geography, literature, sports, culture, and special education topics.
The final selection of candidates will be based on their merit in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Normalisation of scores will be applied if the exam is conducted across multiple sessions. In case of tie scores, tie-breaking criteria will be used based on total CBT marks and age.
Selected candidates will be appointed as Special Primary Teachers on a regular basis under the Education (S) Department, Government of Manipur.
