The OTET exam consists of two papers: Paper 1, for candidates aspiring to teach Classes I to V, and Paper 2, For candidates aiming to teach Classes VI to VIII
Each paper has 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
The exam duration for each paper is 2.5 hours.
Candidates must choose a language for Language I from Odia, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, or Bengali, while Language II is always English.
Paper 2 has two optional sections where candidates select either Mathematics & Science or Social Studies.
Question papers in non-language subjects are bilingual (Odia and English).
OTET Marking Scheme is provided below-
Each correct answer carries 1 mark.
There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
This no-penalty marking scheme encourages candidates to attempt all questions without fear of losing marks.
