TG TET Educational Qualification

For Paper I (Primary Level: Classes I–V):

• Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks.

• They should also have completed or be in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

• Relaxation of 5% in marks is given to candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and differently-abled categories.

For Paper II (Upper Primary Level: Classes VI–VIII):

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com) with at least 50% marks.

• They should also possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or be in the final year of the B.Ed course.

• Relaxation in marks applies to reserved categories as per Telangana government rules.
