UPSC Principal and Vice Principal Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The UPSC Principal and Vice Principal Recruitment 2026 selection process consists of two stages. Candidates will first appear for a Combined Recruitment Test (CRT), followed by an Interview for those shortlisted based on their CRT performance. The CRT is scheduled to be held on 1 November 2026. The final merit list will be prepared by giving 75% weightage to the CRT and 25% weightage to the Interview. Candidates must also secure the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by UPSC in both stages.

Candidates selected through the UPSC Principal and Vice Principal Recruitment 2026 will receive salaries as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) along with applicable government allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), medical benefits, pension, and other admissible benefits.
