UPTET Exam Centers 2026: The UPTET 2026 examination will be conducted across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The exam city intimation slip was released on 22 June 2026, allowing candidates to check their allotted examination city in advance. However, the city slip only specifies the exam city and shift details. The exact examination centre address, reporting time, and other important instructions will be mentioned only on the UPTET 2026 admit card.
Candidates will be able to download their detailed admit cards from 30 June 2026. Those scheduled to appear on later dates may receive their admit cards accordingly. It is mandatory to download and print the admit card, as the city intimation slip does not contain the complete examination venue details. Candidates should carefully verify the address mentioned on the admit card and reach the allotted centre well before the reporting time to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.
The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 will be conducted at designated examination centres across Uttar Pradesh. Candidates have already been informed of their allotted exam city through the city intimation slip released on 22 June 2026. However, the city slip only mentions the examination district and shift details. The exact exam centre address, reporting time, and venue details will be provided on the UPTET 2026 admit card, which is scheduled to be released from 30 June 2026. Candidates appearing on later dates may receive their hall tickets accordingly.
One of the most important instructions is to reach the examination centre early. The gates will be closed 45 minutes before the start of the examination, and no late entry will be allowed under any circumstances.
First Shift (9:30 AM Exam): Entry closes at 8:45 AM
Second Shift: Entry closes at 1:45 PM
Candidates are advised to reach the centre by 7:30–8:00 AM for the morning shift and avoid relying on the last moment. Traffic, rain, or any unforeseen circumstances can cause delays.
Candidates will receive their detailed admit cards from 30 June 2026. Those appearing on later dates may receive their admit cards accordingly. The examination city slip has already been released, but candidates must download and print the actual admit card before the exam.
Candidates should keep all necessary documents ready in advance. Missing any of these may create difficulties during verification.

Since the examination is being held during the monsoon season, rainfall is expected across several parts of Uttar Pradesh between 2 and 4 July. Candidates are advised to carry umbrellas, raincoats, or other protective items to avoid inconvenience while travelling.
Candidates should not wear heavy jewellery or ornaments to the examination centre. Such items may have to be removed during security checks, causing unnecessary stress and delays before the exam.
Candidates must carry only a black ballpoint pen for marking answers on the OMR sheet. Gel pens and thin-tip pens should be avoided. A smooth-flow pen that fills bubbles clearly is recommended.
The following items are not allowed inside the examination hall:
Calculators
Mobile phones and electronic devices
Extra stationery items (except pen)
White fluid or erasers for OMR correction
Written material or notes
Non-transparent water bottles
Candidates should also avoid making unnecessary marks on the OMR sheet, as it may lead to evaluation issues.
Candidates should carefully verify the examination material provided by invigilators and fill the OMR sheet properly. Errors in bubbling or marking can affect results. White fluid, overwriting, or additional markings should be avoided.
To help candidates with final revision, a free mock test will be available on 28 June 2026 through the PW app under the UPTET Free Batch section. The test aims to provide a real exam-like experience and allow candidates to assess their preparation by competing with lakhs of aspirants.
With only a few days left, candidates should focus on revision rather than worrying about incomplete preparation. Since there is no negative marking in UPTET, candidates should maintain confidence and make the most of the remaining time.
Those appearing for Paper II on 2 July, Paper I and II on 3 July, and Paper I on 4 July should treat these days as their final opportunity and enter the examination hall with complete preparation and a positive mindset.
