
WB TET Special Teacher Answer Key 2026 has been officially released on 25th February 2026. Candidates who appeared for the Special Education Teacher Eligibility Test can now download the provisional answer key PDF and verify their responses.
The answer key has been published by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education on its official website www.wbbpe.wb.gov.in.
The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Special Education Teachers was conducted on 22nd February 2026 from 12:00 Noon to 2:30 PM. The exam was held to fill 2,308 vacancies in government-aided, government-sponsored, and Junior Basic Schools across West Bengal.

Since there is no negative marking, every correct answer carries one mark.
Use this simple formula:
Total Score = Number of Correct Answers × 1
For example, if you attempted 70 questions and 63 answers are correct, your expected score will be 63 out of 100.
Because there is no negative marking in WB TET Special Teacher TET 2026, unattempted questions do not reduce your score.
Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key can raise objections during the objection window (23rd to 26th February 2026).

The final answer key will be released after expert review
Once the final answer key is published, no further grievances will be entertained.
The expected qualifying marks (out of 100) are:
General (Unreserved): 60 marks (60%)
OBC-A / OBC-B: 55 marks (55%)
SC / ST: 55 marks (55%)
PwD: 55 marks (55%)
The official cut-off will be declared along with the result.
The WB TET eligibility certificate is valid for 7 years from the date of result declaration. Qualified candidates can use this certificate for recruitment during this validity period.
