West Bengal Primary Teacher Recruitment 2025The West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) has officially announced the WB Primary Teacher Recruitment 2025, opening 13,421 vacancies for Assistant Teachers in Government, Aided, and Government-Sponsored Primary/Junior Basic Schools. This state-wide hiring aims to fill a major staffing gap in West Bengal’s primary education system and strengthen foundational learning across districts. A total of 13,421 posts are available across multiple districts, including South 24 Parganas, Hooghly, Nadia, Kolkata, Birbhum, Murshidabad, Malda, Jalpaiguri, Cooch Behar, Howrah, Purulia, Darjeeling, Jhargram, Alipurduar, and both East and West Medinipur.

Eligibility Criteria Explained
Candidates must meet academic and training qualifications as per NCTE norms. You are eligible if you have any of the following:

The age limit is 20–40 years, with relaxations for SC, ST, OBC (A/B), Ex-Servicemen, PwD, EC, and Para Teachers.
