Assam SLET Minimum Qualifying Marks 2026
Candidates must meet the minimum qualifying marks to be considered for the Assam SLET Result 2026. The required marks are:

General and General EWS: At least 40% aggregate marks in both papers together.

SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and PwD: At least 35% aggregate marks in both papers together.

What After Assam SLET Result 2026?
Candidates who have qualified the Assam SLET 2026 become eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor in colleges and universities of the North Eastern States, including Sikkim. Qualifying the examination does not mean direct recruitment. Candidates must apply separately whenever Assistant Professor vacancies are announced by universities or colleges.
If any candidate believes there is an error in the result after checking the official answer key, the commission allows a claim to be submitted. A written request must be sent to the Member Secretary, SLET Commission, Assam, along with a Demand Draft of ₹5,000 within 15 days from the date of the result declaration. If the commission finds any mistake during re-evaluation, the result will be corrected and the fee will be refunded. If no error is found, the fee will not be returned.
