NCET 2026 follows a structured computer-based test (CBT) format for admission to the 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP). The exam lasts 180 minutes and emphasizes languages, domain knowledge, teaching aptitude, and general skills through multiple-choice questions. 

The test includes 181 total questions, but candidates must attempt exactly 160 across sections. It features multiple days with two shifts daily
