
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the UGC NET December 2025 provisional answer keys along with the recorded responses on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check the answer key and evaluate their performance before the final result is declared.
Along with the provisional answer key, NTA has also opened the UGC NET objection window, allowing candidates to challenge any answer they find incorrect.
The UGC NET Answer Key 2026 was released on January 14 by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on its official website. Candidates can now check the UGC NET 2026 provisional answer key, response sheet, objection process, and other key details online.
Candidates who find discrepancies in the UGC NET December 2025 provisional answer key can raise objections through the online challenge facility. The objection window is open from January 14, 2026, to January 17, 2026 (until 11:50 PM). Objections must be submitted online within the given timeline, as requests received after the deadline will not be considered.
Candidates who are not satisfied with any answer in the UGC NET December 2025 provisional answer key can submit objections online by following these steps:
Visit the official UGC NET website
Log in using your application number and password
View the provisional answer key and recorded responses
Select the question(s) you want to challenge
Upload supporting documents (if required)
Pay the objection fee of ₹200 per question
Submit the challenge before January 17, 2026 (11:50 PM)
Payment can be made through credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. Challenges without payment will not be accepted.
Candidates raising objections against the UGC NET December 2025 provisional answer key must pay a processing fee of ₹200 per question. The fee can be paid online using a credit card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Objections without payment will not be accepted.
All objections submitted by candidates will be reviewed by a panel of subject experts appointed by NTA.
If a challenge is found valid, the answer key will be revised.
The revised answer will be applied to all candidates, not just the one who objected.
The UGC NET December 2025 result will be prepared based on the final answer key.
Candidates will not be individually informed about whether their objection has been accepted or rejected. The decision taken by the expert panel will be final.
