UGC NET Scorecard 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the UGC NET June 2026 Result and Scorecard on August 28, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the UGC NET June 2026 examination can check their results and download their scorecards through the official UGC NET website.
The UGC NET June 2026 examination was conducted in CBT mode on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30 and July 5, 2026, across 655 examination centres in 87 cities. The examination was conducted for 87 subjects. However, the result declared on August 28 covers 84 subjects, while the examinations for English, Commerce and Sociology will be re-conducted on September 9 and 10, 2026.

The June 2026 UGC NET examination was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 655 examination centres in 286 cities. Although the examination covered 87 subjects, results have currently been declared for 84 subjects. The examinations for English, Commerce and Sociology will be conducted again on September 9 and 10, 2026.

The UGC NET June 2026 Scorecard Link is now active on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates can visit the UGC NET portal and click on “UGC-NET June 2026 Score Card” to access their scorecard using the required login credentials.

According to the NTA press release, 7,73,806 candidates registered for the UGC NET June 2026 examination across 84 subjects, while 6,07,151 candidates appeared for the examination.

The UGC NET June 2026 examinations for English, Commerce and Sociology are not included in the result declared on August 28. NTA has scheduled the re-examination for these three subjects on September 9 and September 10, 2026.
Candidates appearing for these subjects should note that their UGC NET June 2026 scorecard/result will be made available only after the re-examination. NTA has also advised such candidates that they may receive an “Invalid Application Number/Password” message while attempting to access their scorecard before the re-examination result is processed.

Candidates have been shortlisted under different qualifying categories. As per the NTA result announcement, candidates have qualified for:
Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor
Assistant Professor and admission to PhD
Admission to PhD only
The UGC-NET qualification is based on the aggregate performance of candidates in both parts of the examination.
Candidates who have qualified should download and preserve their UGC NET scorecard. Eligible candidates may use their qualification for the opportunities applicable to their qualifying category, including JRF, Assistant Professor eligibility and/or PhD admission.
NTA has also stated that the eligibility criteria, self-declaration and relevant documents of eligible candidates will be verified by the concerned authorities as per the applicable rules.
