Delhi Arogya Kosh (DAK) is a vital health assistance scheme launched by the Government of Delhi to ensure that no resident is denied essential or life-saving medical treatment due to financial limitations.
Designed especially for economically weaker sections, this program provides financial support for major surgeries, critical illnesses, and costly diagnostic tests through direct payment to hospitals. By offering up to ₹5 Lakh in medical aid, the Delhi Arogya Kosh plays a crucial role in reducing healthcare expenses and helping vulnerable families access timely treatment with dignity.
Delhi Arogya Kosh is a registered society under the Government of Delhi that functions as a critical illness fund. It provides financial assistance for treatment, including surgeries and diagnostic tests, at both government and empanelled private hospitals.
