

Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyaan aims to digitally empower six crore people across rural India by training one member from every eligible household, covering roughly 40% of rural homes. Originally set to wrap up by March 31, 2019, the scheme equips people with practical skills, from using smartphones and browsing the Web to sending emails and handling digital payments, in order to join the digital world.
