The UPSC EPFO Exam Centre 2026 list includes 84 centres for the Recruitment Test (RT) for the post of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) in the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). Candidates should keep the following centre allotment rules in mind before submitting the application:
Centre allotment: The Commission will allot centres on a “first-apply-first allot” basis.
Centre capacity: There will be a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each centre, except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur.
Centre freezing: Once the capacity of a particular centre is reached, that centre will be frozen.
Alternative centre: Candidates who cannot get their preferred centre due to the capacity limit will have to choose a centre from the remaining options.

Documents for interview: Shortlisted candidates will have to submit documents supporting the information and claims made in their online applications.
Document scrutiny: The Commission will scrutinise the submitted documents before calling candidates for the interview.
Documents at interview: Candidates must produce the printout of their online application along with the original documents and certificates mentioned in the application.
Self-attested copies: Candidates must also provide self-attested copies and any other documents specified in the interview summons letter.
Failure to produce documents: Candidates who fail to present the required documents will be disqualified from appearing in the interview. They will also not be eligible for reimbursement of travelling expenses by the Commission.
Correct information: Candidates must provide accurate information in the online application. If any information or claim is found to be false at a later stage, the candidature may be rejected.
Action for misconduct: Candidates involved in misconduct may face disqualification or debarment, as applicable. This includes:
Impersonation
