UPSC Interview Process 2027

The UPSC Interview Process 2027 is the final and most decisive stage of the Civil Services Examination. After clearing the Mains Examination 2026, you move to the Personality Test, where the focus shifts from written answers to real-time evaluation of thinking, behaviour, and communication under pressure. This stage is conducted by a board of experts who assess how suitable you are for administrative responsibilities and public service roles.

Unlike the written examination, the Interview does not test factual knowledge alone. The board evaluates your personality, clarity of thought, administrative understanding, communication ability, judgment, and overall suitability for public service. Since the marks obtained in this stage are added directly to your Mains score, the Interview plays a decisive role in final rank and service allocation.
