NSAT subject-wise syllabus

The NSAT syllabus for 2025 includes subjects listed in NCERT textbooks and aims to provide clarity on core concepts by preparing students for competitive exams. The topics covered depend on class and stream (Medical or Engineering for classes 11-12) and broadly include the core subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Mental Ability. The syllabus for classes 6-10 consists broadly of basic concepts of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Logical reasoning (Mental Ability).

• Grade 6-8: Materials, heat and temperature, motion and force, pressure, friction, sound, light and shadow, electric current and its effects.
