The West Bengal NEET UG Counselling registration 2026 for Round 1 has been done on August 13, 2026. Candidates had registered themselves until 6 PM on August 16.
To claim a seat under the 85% State Quota, candidates must meet the specific domicile criteria set by the Government of West Bengal:
Proforma A1: Candidate has been residing continuously in West Bengal for at least 10 years as of December 31, 2025 (Issued by an authorized official such as BDO, SDO, District Magistrate, or Commissioner).
Proforma A2: Candidate has resided in West Bengal for 10 years and passed 10+2 examination from a recognized school within West Bengal.
Proforma B: Candidate does not reside in WB, but one parent is a permanent resident of West Bengal with a permanent address proof.
e-District Certificate: Valid e-district domicile certificates issued online by WB authorities are also accepted.
Domicile condition is not applicable for Management Quota seats. Candidates from any Indian state who have qualified NEET UG 2026 can participate.

Access Portal: Visit wbmcc.nic.in and log in using your NEET UG Roll Number and Password.
Review Seat Matrix: Inspect the Round 1 seat matrix published on August 19, 2026, to check vacant seat distribution across colleges and categories.
Add Choices: Select preferred medical and dental colleges in sequential order. Always place top choices at the top of your list.
Lock Choices: Review your choices thoroughly and click "Lock Choices" before 4:00 PM on August 21, 2026. If not locked manually, system auto-locking will trigger at the deadline.
Print Submission: Download and save the final choice lock confirmation slip for future references.
After the verified candidate list and seat matrix are published, eligible candidates can fill and lock their choices.
The West Bengal NEET UG choice filling 2026 window will remain open from 4 PM on August 19 to 4 PM on August 21.
